Day 12 is when we met the woman with phone number ending in 0002! She and her crew were really friendly, saying they knew the owner back at Day 11 and the owner at Fujiya.

After seeing this building for a bit, I was like “whoah it’s abandoned!” and started taking pics.

Akayako Hotel was abandoned, with its front door literally open and leaves strewn into the lobby.

It’s right on Highway 17 below the bungee jump area.

It was super interesting to see all the safes, TVs, blankets… plus perfectly fine little things like cups and saucers.

1pm or so

Dragged our butts into Fujiya Hotel where my phone would be delivered. I expected the owner to let me know it arrived but eventually had to go down and she was like “oh hmmm yeah..” and eventually “oh here it is!” buried under a few sheets within a huge stack of paper on her desk!

Wow would I have received it if I hadn’t asked??

“That’s my phone you’re burying there!!”
